Albuquerque took on Santa Fe in front of a lively crowd.

The Albuquerque Dukes rode a solid performance from 35-year-old starting pitcher Goliat Luján to a win, beating the Santa Fe Hollyhocks, 3-1, at Santa Fe Stadium. Albuquerque now has a record of 7-5.

Albuquerque used a clutch hit from Justo Olivera to get the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Dukes ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Olivera told the Albuquerque Citizen.
