Behiques Get Dramatic 1-0 Triumph
Parquecito de Orocovis was the site of some high drama.

In a low-scoring game between the Orocovis Behiques and the Corozal Maduritos, pitcher Leo Guerra was the difference-maker. The Orocovis left-hander was tough as nails in the 1-0 Behiques win. The Behiques are off to a tough start, getting just their 5th win in 14 games.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Gillespie Hawkins in the bottom of the 13th. That's when he hit a solo home run off 19-year old right-handed pitcher Cástico González to win it for Orocovis and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"This is a resilient bunch," said Orocovis manager Loquillo García.
