The Hatillo Tritones picked up a win at Parquecito de Isabela, downing the Isabela Jerezanos, 4-3. On the mound for Hatillo was right-hander Plutarco Guerrero, who played a pivotal role in the win. Martín Rodríguez got the save, the 1st for him this season.

Had Alcibíades Arango not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Arango hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Tritones.

"Plutarco just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Hatillo manager Tiberio Barajas.

The loss drops Isabela to 5-8.
