The Camuy Ermitanos picked up a win at Parquecito de Isabela, taking down the Isabela Jerezanos, 4-2. Starting pitcher Álvaro Fraga was a big reason why. Fraga yielded 2 runs over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 9. His record improves to 2-0. The Jerezanos drop to 5-11 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1908 season.

Camuy used a well-timed hit by Solón Grijalva to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Ermitanos ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

Grijalva told a Camuy Times reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
