Fourches 10-5 Victors Over Halifax
Thanks in large part to right fielder Luis Palacios, the Levis Fourches beat the Halifax Batteries, 10-5. Palacios slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. At 73-55, the Fourches find themselves in first place in the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Division Maritime.

The Batteries had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Fourches going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 30-year old first baseman Brad Killy came to the plate. Killy hit a 2-run double on a 2-1 splitter from Halifax hurler Gabriel Gutiérrez. It was Killy's 20th double of the year.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said Levis skipper Stephen Glover.
