Willows Use Late Rally to Win
The inspired effort of Brandon designated hitter Viktor Holz was not enough to prevent a loss, 5-4, to the Saskatoon Willows. Holz was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. Reliever Víctor Manuel Sánchez picked up the win. His record improves to 3-2. Ronaldo Luna took the loss. With the win, the Willows improved to 23-24.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Medardo Olivares in the bottom of the 12th. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Ronaldo Luna to win it for Saskatoon and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"This house was rockin'," Olivares said.
