The Saskatoon Willows beat the Winnipeg Strikers, 10-3. Saskatoon pitcher and Fajardo, Puerto Rico, native Zoilo Zúñiga led the way. The Willows win now puts them at 34-44.
Medardo Olivares came through for Saskatoon with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. The catcher went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 3 RBI.
