Gas Take Down Grizzlies, 2-1, in 10
|
The Vancouver Gas relied on a great performance from Hugo Gallardo, who is tied for 9th in the WL in innings pitched with 162.1, to beat the Kelowna Grizzlies, 2-1, in 10 innings at Gas Field. At 31-51, the Gas are currently last in the Western League.
The Gas got a clutch hit from left fielder Lidio Abreu. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Gas.
"Tough loss," said Kelowna manager Aidan Gordon. "Tough one to swallow."
