The Calgary Chargers had no problem beating the Medicine Hat Hellfire, 11-2, at Hellfire Park. Pascual Reyes led the way. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 8 runs and scored twice for Calgary. Calgary pitcher Bernal Lupercio got the win. He's now 4-2. Miguel Venegas was tagged with the loss. The Chargers raised their record to 47-37.

In the first inning, Reyes had a grand slam home run for Calgary. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Chargers on top, 4-0.

Medicine Hat manager Crisanto Lira called the blowout loss "just something that happens from time to time."
