Villanueva Stops Medicine Hat Cold, 7-0
Serafín Villanueva kept the Medicine Hat Hellfire hitters from doing much damage at Chargers Grounds.

Medicine Hat could only muster 4 hits and draw 2 walks against the right-handed Villanueva, who controlled them throughout the game. Calgary won the contest, 7-0. Villanueva added 11 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.

"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Villanueva told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."
