Portsider Helps New Braunfels to 5-1 Win
New Braunfels picked up a win at Cadavers Park, bumping off the San Marcos Cadavers, 5-1. Pitcher Eduardo Campoverde was a major reason the Yodelers emerged victorious. New Braunfels has a record of 11-6.

Campoverde's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 4 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 6 hits. Campoverde, who is tied for 5th in the FBL-EA in innings pitched with 43.2, goes to 3-2 on the year with 30 strikeouts.

"We understand we didn't play our best baseball," said losing manager Julio Naranjo. "We'll shower it off and be ready to compete."
