Losing Trend Continues for Santa Fe
Los Lunas registered a win at Werewolves Park by beating the Santa Fe Hollyhocks, 11-3. Pitcher Rafael Montez was one reason why the Werewolves triumphed. Los Lunas, at 10-17, sits in last place in the Western Association Santa Fe Circuit.

In the bottom of the first, Los Lunas third baseman Rafael Sánchez whacked a curveball to right-center for a grand slam home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Werewolves in front, 4-0.

"We've hit a lull," said Santa Fe manager Brad Frauhiger.
