The Wichita Falls Yardmen and Abilene Preachers lit up the scoreboard.

Raúl López was the difference-maker for the Wichita Falls Yardmen in what turned into a shootout with the Abilene Preachers. López went 2-for-2 in the 15-9 Yardmen win. Pablo Salas picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-2. He struck out 3 in 5 innings. Picking up his 1st save was 24-year old left-handed pitcher Aurelio Castellanos.

Making an impact for Wichita Falls was shortstop Gaspar Campusano. Skinny drilled a 2-run double off Baltasar Medina in the bottom of the third. For the game, Campusano was 1 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Wichita Falls skipper Kevin Kerfoot.

The third-place Yardmen sport a record of 15-15.
