The Los Lunas Werewolves dumped the Santa Fe Hollyhocks, 5-4, in large part due to first baseman Modesto Ramírez. On the day, Ramírez went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Werewolves. The win makes Los Lunas 16-28.

Los Lunas took the lead on Ramírez's 13th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came against Hugo Medrano in the bottom of the seventh, made the score 5-4, Los Lunas.

"I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Los Lunas manager George Shoch said afterward.
