Yodelers Rally Late to Clip Waco
Waco got a valiant performance from pitcher Julián Orúe, but it wasn't enough to beat the New Braunfels Yodelers. New Braunfels won the game, 4-3. Orúe threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. New Braunfels is in first place in the Eastern Association San Marcos Circuit with a record of 34-26.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 3-3, 28-year old left fielder Eunosto Romero won it for New Braunfels. With a runner on 2nd, Romero hit a 1-2 splitter from Antonio Villegas for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 4-3 win.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Waco manager Atanasio Arredondo said, following the tough loss.
