Werewolves Topple Hollyhocks, 6-3
The Los Lunas Werewolves topped the Santa Fe Hollyhocks, 6-3, the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Pascual Reyes. On the day, Reyes was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Werewolves. With the win, the Werewolves improved to 23-48.

Prisco Vargas had a big 2-run double for the Werewolves in the top of the third inning. With Los Lunas leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 28-year old left-handed pitcher Héctor Cano and swatted a double to right. It was his 15th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Werewolves ahead, 4-0.

"It was a good team win. Everybody threw something in," Vargas told the Los Lunas Chronicle.
