Rallying Werewolves Get 4-3 Win
The Los Lunas Werewolves defeated the Taos Artists, 4-3, in 11 innings. Doing his part was designated hitter Modesto Ramírez, who was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Despite the win, the Werewolves have a lousy 25-50 record.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Los Lunas. That's when Pánfilo Ruiz hit a run-scoring double off 18-year old right-handed pitcher Felipe Ramos to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Ramírez said.
