Wichita Falls third baseman Justino Estrada helped his team beat the Abilene Preachers, 9-6. Estrada went 2 for 3 for the Yardmen. Pascual Mercado, the winner, goes to 6-8. He allowed 6 runs on 12 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts over 7 innings. Moisés Paz recorded the save, his 4th.

Wichita Falls left fielder Lucas Mellor helped the Yardmen go up, 7-6, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Mellor hit a run-scoring single off Abilene pitcher David Paton.
