Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown San Marcos Cadavers take on the Luling Lavender Stockings.
Getting an impressive start from Liu-liang Shen, San Marcos beat Luling by the score of 3-1. Faustino Montes De Oca got the save, the 4th for him this season.
Faustino Montes De Oca got a big out in the top of the ninth. The Lavender Stockings were trailing 3-1, but Luling had runners on 2nd and 3rd with two out. Montes De Oca threw a 1-2 curveball to Propercio Lima, who struck out.
The Cadavers now have a mark of 47-48.
