Starting pitcher Crisóstomo Yáñez was a major factor in the 2-1 Waco Mammoths triumph over the New Braunfels Yodelers. Yáñez, now 14-13, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The victory gives Waco a record of 55-48.
