The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

Luling turned a good effort from starter Malik Drakes into a win over the San Marcos Cadavers at Lavender Stockings Park. The final score was 2-1. The winner was Herminio Sepúlveda in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Amadeo Zúñiga took the loss.

The Lavender Stockings got a clutch hit from center fielder Laurent Lecocq. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Lavender Stockings.

"We didn't let this one get away," said Drakes.

The Lavender Stockings now own a record of 54-50.
