The Los Lunas Werewolves finished things off in style.

Santa Fe got a terrific game from shortstop Sotero Trujillo. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Los Lunas, 7-6, in 11 innings. Trujillo was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Los Lunas, with the win, sits at 29-70.

In the bottom of the 11th, Pascual Reyes delivered the big blow for Los Lunas, stroking a game-winning run-scoring single off Santa Fe pitcher Nerón Intriago.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Reyes told reporters after the game.
