The San Marcos Cadavers took on the New Braunfels Yodelers at Yodelers Grounds.

The San Marcos Cadavers spoiled a good performance by New Braunfels first baseman Pascual Felipe, bumping off New Braunfels, 8-7, at Yodelers Grounds. Felipe was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. With the win, San Marcos pushed its record to 59-40.

The Cadavers got a lift from second baseman Sixto Adame, who in the top of the first stroked a first pitch sinker to center for a run-scoring single. It was his 12th hit of the season and put the Cadavers ahead, 2-0.

"We got the victory," said Adame. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
