Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Pecan Kings
Galveston got a valiant performance from pitcher Flaminio Martín, but it wasn't enough to beat the Tyler Pecan Kings. Tyler won the game, 3-2. Martín threw 10.0 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. Tyler reliever Deegan Thornbury was the winner. His record is now 3-2. Nicolás Almendares took the loss. The setback makes Galveston 40-59.

The Pecan Kings nabbed the win, in part because of designated hitter Jesús María Sánchez. In the bottom of the 16th, he delivered the game-winning run-scoring single.

"This place was rockin'," Sánchez said.
