In a tight contest at Werewolves Park, the Los Lunas Werewolves edged the Santa Fe Hollyhocks by the score of 8-7. Los Lunas first baseman Modesto Ramírez, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Los Lunas is 37-80 and Santa Fe, with the loss, 58-59.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Los Lunas trailing 7-6, Ramírez hit a splitter from Felipe Piñeda for a 2-run home run, giving the Werewolves the walk-off win.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Ramírez.
