Gerasch Helps Cadavers Win, 14-4, with Pair of Homers
The San Marcos Cadavers drop-kicked the Luling Lavender Stockings, 14-4, at Cadavers Park. San Marcos third baseman Lanz Gerasch had an elite performance. He was 4-4 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 5. Dermot Britton, credited with the win, is now 14-16. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits in 9 innings. At 61-69, the Cadavers are currently last in the Eastern Association San Marcos Circuit.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Gerasch hit a 2-run home run off Sebastián Flores. It propelled the Cadavers into the lead, 4-2.
