Wet weather did not postpone the Mayabeque-Habana ballgame.

Mayabeque pitcher Roy Robertson did his part in helping his team defeat the Habana Leones, 5-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Robertson got the win, improving to 15-10. He gave up 6 hits and walked 4 over 8 innings. He allowed 1 run.

Regardless of the outcome, those who came to Parque de los Alacranes for the Torneo Occidental contest enjoyed being where the action was.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Robertson.

The Alacranes are now 68-52, while the Leones fall to 57-63.
