Insulaires Get 4th Straight Win with Late Rally
Insulaires Field played host to some exciting baseball.

The Laval Insulaires picked up a win at Insulaires Field, knocking off the Lachute Supercalandres, 4-3. On the mound for Laval was right-hander Heliodoro Pantoja. He played a key role in the triumph. Laval, at 70-60, occupies second place in the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Division Ouest.

Sarpedón Ávalos was the walk-off hero for Laval. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Insulaires shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"From the first pitch, Heliodoro was ready to rock and roll," said Laval manager Timoteo Sandoval.
