Batteries Jolt Dons, 6-3, with Late Rally

The Halifax Batteries beat the Quebec City Dons, 6-3. Halifax starter Jaime Bautista pitched a gem. Bautista yielded 3 runs over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 6, and struck out 7. His record improves to 18-8. At 74-57, Halifax is in first place in the Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Division Maritime.
Onesíforo Hidalgo drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Halifax. The 26-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Gabriel Martínez. It was his 10th walk of the season.
"Very good win for our guys," said Hidalgo.
