It was a smooth and solid performance by Poncio Gamero of the Kelowna Grizzlies against the Calgary Chargers. He crafted a fine 4-hitter to blank the Chargers, 4-0. He chalked up 7 strikeouts and 1 walk along the way.

"It certainly makes my job easy when my pitcher tosses a shutout," said Kelowna skipper Aidan Gordon. "I can just sit back, watch and enjoy."
