Chargers Grounds was the site of a competitive game between the Kelowna Grizzlies and Calgary Chargers.

The Calgary Chargers picked up a win at Chargers Grounds, knocking off the Kelowna Grizzlies, 5-3. On the mound for Calgary was right-hander Saturnín Juárez. He played a key role in the triumph. Calgary now owns a record of 61-42.

Pascual Reyes dealt the Grizzlies a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and Calgary leading 2-1, Reyes, who is tied for 8th in the WL in home runs with 12, hit a 0-1 sinker for a 2-run single.

"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Juárez.
