Hellfire Beat Chargers, 7-2

The Medicine Hat Hellfire stifled the Calgary Chargers, 7-2, at Hellfire Park. Anthony Camus, who is tied for 4th in the WL in runs scored with 45, had his hitting cap on. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Medicine Hat. Dougalasa Kolet, the winning pitcher, is now 12-10. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while fanning 8 and walking 2. The Hellfire improved their record to 65-42 with the win over Calgary.
Pelayo Albarrán had a big grand slam home run for the Hellfire in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Medicine Hat leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he sized up a changeup from Ricardo Carrión, who is tied for 10th in the WL in wins with 10, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Hellfire on top, 7-2.
"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Albarrán.
