Medicine Hat took on Calgary in front of a lively crowd.

The Medicine Hat Hellfire racked up a win at Hellfire Park, bumping off the Calgary Chargers, 5-2. Honorio Reyes, who started for Medicine Hat, pitched effectively for his team. The last-place Hellfire improved to 37-72.

Medicine Hat took the lead in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Fulco Gutiérrez stroked a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Hellfire.

Said losing manager Enrique Carrillo: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
