The Medicine Hat Hellfire defeated the Calgary Chargers, 8-3. Right Fielder Eduardo Rodríguez deserved a large share of the credit. Rodríguez went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Hellfire. The victory puts Medicine Hat at 38-72.

Rodríguez had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Hellfire went on to win.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Rodríguez said after the game.
