Win Goes to Grizzlies in Tight Contest
Getting offensive support from Amentario Gómez, the Kelowna Grizzlies topped the Vancouver Gas, 9-5. Gómez went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Grizzlies. With the win, Kelowna pushed its record to 59-58.

Farón Torres came through with a big-time hit for Kelowna. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 8-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Grizzlies manager Archie Hogan.
