Herrera Gets Win in Vancouver Rout
Vancouver starter Manuel Herrera throttled the Medicine Hat offense, as the Gas won in a rout, 11-1. The losses continue to pile up for Medicine Hat, which has now fallen 9 times in a row.

Herrera imposed his will on the Hellfire, scattering 8 hits over 9 innings while striking out 9. The left-hander upped his season record to 10-16.

"I'm happy we won," said Herrera. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
