Macías Now 3-5 After Beating Hellfire
Vancouver picked up a win at Gas Field, bumping off the Medicine Hat Hellfire, 3-0. Pitcher Guadalupe Macías was a major reason the Gas emerged victorious. Jacinto Trejo got the save, his 1st in 4 chances. Medicine Hat has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Macías, who dominated for Vancouver, earned the victory to move to 3-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 6. Medicine Hat batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Guadalupe is a gamer," said Vancouver manager Lynwood Thomas.
