Chargers Keep Losing, Drop 12-6 Contest to Kamloops
Kamloops right fielder José María Jiménez had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Calgary Chargers, 12-6. By defeating Calgary, the first-place Fur Traders improved to 85-46.

Kamloops used a clutch at-bat from Aluino Saldaña to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Fur Traders ahead, 8-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Saldaña told the Kamloops Bulletin.
