Oswego first baseman Manuel Huezo had a big day at Perennial Blooming Park against the Rochester Lilac Stockings. The 26-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 15-5 Hydropathists triumph over Rochester.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Huezo said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Manuel Huezo singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
