Duluth pitcher Cedro Delgado did his part in helping his team beat the Sault St. Marie Rapids, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The win gives Duluth a record of 6-1.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Curcio Torres? The Duluth second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Zeniths on top, 4-3. For the game, Torres had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Torres told the Duluth Observer.
