Zeniths catcher Agapito González left his mark on his team's 9-3 win over the Sault St. Marie Rapids. González, who is tied for 9th in the WGLA with a .441 on-base percentage, went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 runs for Duluth in the contest. Duluth starter Omar Martínez was credited with the win after throwing 124 pitches over 9 innings. His record now stands at 2-2.

In the bottom of the third inning, shortstop Divino Marcial had a 2-run double for Duluth. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Zeniths on top, 5-3.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Marcial told the Duluth Observer.

With the win, Duluth improves its record to 13-6.
