Half Moons Tag Peach Kings with 4-2 Loss
Utica turned a good effort from starter Francisco López into a win over the Irondequoit Peach Kings at Cookie Cutter Park. The Half Moons won the game, 4-2. Utica is now 17-14, while Irondequoit is 12-16.

The Half Moons got a big at-bat from designated hitter Benicio Martínez. For the game, Martínez went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Utica a 3-2 lead.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Martínez told the Utica Chronicle.
