The Sault St. Marie Rapids thumped the Grand Marais Voyageurs, 9-2, at Rapids Park, But Better. Adam Corbett was a big reason his team got the win. Corbett was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The Rapids now have a record of 15-18 with the win over Grand Marais.

With Sault St. Marie leading 3-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Corbett hit a sinker from Benicio Reyes for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Rapids ahead, 6-0.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Rapids manager Gareth Swain.
