McKelvie Powers Citadels to 9-6 Win
The game between Kingston and Oshawa is in the books, despite a little rain.

The Kingston Citadels topped the Oshawa Engines, 9-6, at The Motor Pool. Kingston catcher Tommy McKelvie was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs. Stewart Hunter got the win, improving to 4-4. He worked 5 innings, giving up 1 run on 7 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0.

Kingston used a well-timed hit by Felipe Farías to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Citadels ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said McKelvie.

The third-place Citadels hiked their record to 20-22.
