Comediantes Tuck Away 6-4 Win Over Mayabeque
Starting pitcher Andrés Guzmán pitched well enough to help the San Antonio de los Banos Comediantes beat the Mayabeque Alacranes, 6-4. The first-place Comediantes, at 60-45, lead the Torneo Occidental La Habana by 4½ games.

The Alacranes had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Comediantes going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the three-time Acutísimo (LBPC) winner Artemisio López came to the plate. López hit a 2-run double on a 1-1 fastball from Mayabeque hurler Diego Arocho. It was López's 21st double of the year.

"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Guzmán.
