The Guantanamo Cocoteros and Trinidad Tabacaleros completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Guantanamo Cocoteros beat the Trinidad Tabacaleros, 4-3, in part because of pinch hitter Ralf Windisch. He was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Darío Mercado snagged the win in relief. He goes to 5-9 on the season. Miguel Valles suffered the loss.

Windisch had a timely hit for Guantanamo in the bottom of the eighth. With Guantanamo trailing 3-2, he turned a 0-1 slider into a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 4-3, Guantanamo.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Windisch after the game.

The first-place Tabacaleros dropped to 69-58.
