Spiders Defeated, 6-5, After Louisville Rallies
The Louisville Colonels withstood a fine game by Cleveland right fielder Emmet Heidrick at League Park I, to upend the Spiders, 6-5. Heidrick went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Adam Dixon in relief, making him now 5-2. Jesse Stovall took the loss for Cleveland. Earning his 5th save for Louisville was Brad Drain.

Tom McCreery drove in one run for Louisville. In the top of the ninth, with the teams deadlocked, 5-5, McCreery delivered for the Colonels. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Louisville on top, 6-5.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," McCreery told the Louisville Gazette.

The Colonels raised their record to 33-25.
