Gordon goes 3-for-3 to Fuel Amargados Offense

The rain came, as predicted, but the Angostura Amargados and Cumana Atunes were able to complete their ballgame.
The Angostura Amargados powered past the Cumana Atunes, 9-7, at Estadio de Angostura. Nicky Gordon was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once, to lead the charge. Reliever Garrett Colgan picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Konan Wray, who is tied for 10th in the LE in complete games with 2, took the loss. Picking up the save was Enrique Ortiz, his 1st.
With Angostura leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Gordon hit a curveball from Konan Wray for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Amargados ahead, 3-0.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Gordon.
The Amargados, at 18-10, have now won 4 straight.
