In the bottom of the sixth, Amadís de Jesús delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 3rd, the Coro right fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Bizantinos in front, 11-2.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Barquisimeto manager Jim Corkum. "They smoked us."
