Puerto La Cruz beat Cumana on the strength of starting pitcher Raúl Muñoz's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Muñoz, who finished 4th in the LE in ERA with 2.84 last year, went the distance for Puerto La Cruz. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. Cumana is 3-3 after the loss.
